Danita Marie Poulain

On Thursday, December 31, 2020, our precious Danita, in her 42nd year was suddenly taken from us to be with her Lord in her new home. She loved her little home at the lake but her new home is grander by far. Beloved daughter of Ed and Della Poulain. Loving Mother and Best Friend to her 21 year old daughter, Mackenzie Poulain. Loving life partner of Michael Lockyer. Dear sister of Crystal Stringer (Ryan Harrison) and her late brother Kelly Poulain. Dear aunt of Langley and Tayden Stringer. Dear granddaughter of the late Leo and Nina Poulain (Gilmour) and the late John and Winnifred Peach (Woodstock). Dear niece of Valerie and Harvey Pyette (Woodstock, Ontario) and Michael Peach and his dear wife, the late Dianne Peach (Midland) and many cousins on both sides of the family. Also survived by her Newly Extended family of Ron and Theresa Lockyer and brothers, Doug and PJ Lockyer and their families. Due to the pandemic, there was an appointment only visitation on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Private family interment was held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens where Danita was laid to rest with her dear brother, Kelly. A celebration of Danita's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Duffus Funeral Home will be accepting donations in honour of Danita's daughter, Mackenzie. Please make cheques payable to Mackenzie Poulain.
