Danny Leroy Corbett (78) of Terre Haute passed away peacefully at Gibson Hospice Center on August 8, 2022. He was born on December 22, 1943 in Mishawaka, IN to Maurice Leroy Corbett and Mary Lu Moody Corbett. He grew up in Kewanna, IN and served as a Navy Corpman in the Vietnam War. Danny worked for 22 years in the juvenile justice system and retired in 2015 from a position he loved working as a Vision Therapist at Judson Family Vision Care. He enjoyed attending church with his family at Maryland Community Church.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sisters, Sharon Ann Carlson and Michele Ann Corbett, nephew Timothy Carlson, nieces Jacque Sue Sullivan and Taylor Grace Corbett.

Danny is survived by his daughter Amanda (Steve) Judson of Terre Haute as well as his 5 grandchildren Camden, Lainey, Luke, Cadence and Cole. He is also survived by his brother Gregory (Sharon) Corbett of North Pole, Alaska and sister Nancy Wanner of Abilene, Texas. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, a multitude of cousins, as well as 2 aunts and 1 uncle.

Visitation for Danny will be from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, August 11, 2022 and will start with Military Services at 5pm at Giovanini Funeral Home, 408 Vine Street, Clinton, IN. Services will be conducted at 7pm on Thursday the 11th with Pastor Jim Pendleton officiating. Private interment will be at Moon Cemetery, Bruce Lake Station, Indiana.
