Danny Hughes Obituary
Danny was born January 6, 1966 in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at M. D. Anderson.
Danny was a strong family man and a good Christian. He was a general contractor and owned Hughes Construction with his son. He enjoyed being around family and friends, grilling and cooking. He loved his grandbabies and enjoyed taking them for tractor rides. He was the first person to jump in and help others in need. Danny was a member of the Round Table, Lion's Club and Harmony Hill Baptist Church.
Danny is survived by his wife of 35 years and loving best friend, Leah Hughes; daughter and family, Chelsea and Corey Selby, Ava, Millie and Baby Boy (due in January 2023); son and family, Dustin and Lauren Hughes, Daxton and Deacon; mother, Carolyn (Knight) Hughes; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rhonda and Steve Morrison and Susan and Trey Swofford.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hughes; and brother, Chad Hughes.

Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
