I was blessed in many ways by Danny. I first met him and had the privilege of serving with him as a discussion leader in BSF in the early 1980s. He was influential in helping my spiritual growth. I am still blessed by some of his dental work. I learned from him as I heard him speak of his growing up and his constant and growing love for Jesus. I was blessed by his wife, Anne, who led my wife, Anne, into a saving relationship with Christ. I was privileged to work with him in church ministry. I was encouraged by him as he was chairman of the Elders at Providence when I responded to a call to vocational Gospel ministry. I admired his fight and determination to finish strong - and prayed for him particularly over these past 10 years. As I reflect, I was blessed more than I had realized by the life and faith and ministry of Danny Lotz. So I thank God for him. My life has been forever changed and blessed by his steadfast faith and abiding love for Jesus. I look forward to seeing him again - healthy in heaven, joining together in praise of our blessed Lord! In Christ! Bob Stancil

the earth has lost a mountain, a tower of kindness, endless goodness to climb upon. A rock that would gather you up and take you in. A living rock we did huddle to, drawn by warmth from love's
fire deep within . A mountain with arms.... upward.... outward in praise, to embrace ,to hug, to hold, to heal. With a voice that spoke comfort and truth... A Rock of Faith.... Immovable friendship.... capturing the eye from afar.... settling the soul. We loved him... he loved us first. Now nestled at the foot of God's summit.... pinnacled with the CROSS... glorious zenith lighting the universe.
