Christina, our hearts are broken and we send our deepest love to you and the boys.
Knowing that Darcy is now in the arms of Jesus is the blessing in this tragedy.
That does not account for the days ahead for you and the boys.
Please know, there are so many like us, praying, thinking and caring.... as you face each day forward. xoxo

What a legacy Darcy leaves behind. His love for Jesus is written in every newspaper and talked about by anyone who talks about him. Darcy loved Jesus and served Him and that legacy will go on forever through those who knew Darcy and loved him, especially his wife and kids. I did not know Darcy but I work with his cousin Dan (another man who loves Jesus). I am praying for the family and all those affected by this tragedy. God is still on the throne.

This morning on my way to work I was thinking about the time we were all playing shinny hockey and you had the wickedest wrist shot. You showed me how you held your stick and from then on I had the king of wrist shots. I can still ping cans off the top of the net 28 years later!

To Darcy's Family,
I want to express my deepest condolences on your loss. Words can not express my heartbreak for all of you. I attended Briercrest Bible College with Darcy in 1999 and was in the same dorm. I was looking through our yearbook and looking at his pictures on the hockey team, his school pic and our dorm picture. He still looks the same as I remember him. I have been so excited to hear of the impact that Darcy has had on so many lives and how He has lived out his faith and love of Jesus Christ. We will be praying for you all as you walk through this difficult time. So thankful that we sorrow but not as those without hope. Praying for tomorrow and days ahead!!!
