Darlene Flint, 80, of Andover, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday June 25, 2018. She was born September 14, 1937 in Sorento, Illinois to the late Nicholas Kerin and Virginia Green Kerin.
Surviving is her daughter, Julie Daniels, of Andover; her son, Nicholas Flint (Susan) of Rogers, AR, and four granddaughters - Jennifer Hyslip, Boston, MA; Alexandra (Kolby) Coons, Santa Monica, CA; Madison Flint, Rogers, AR and Sophia Flint, Rogers, AR.
Darlene was a long-time resident of Andover where she lived since the mid-1970s, and developed many wonderful friendships within the community. Throughout her career, Darlene worked in the Andover Public School system, and Pfizer. She had a love for travel (anywhere in the sun), spending time with her family, and would never pass up a shopping trip.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted on July 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the South Church, (41 Central Street, Andover, MA), followed by a gathering at the Andover Inn (4 Chapel Avenue, Andover, MA) . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Darlene Flint to the Dr. Walter O’Donnell Bronchiectasis and Cough Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital.
