Darlene (Johnson) Luce, of Steamburg, passed away on March 4, 2024, in Buffalo, New York. She was born on May 25, 1962, in Jamestown, NY. Darlene was a caring, loving woman who was always willing to help anyone in need.

She attended Randolph Central High School and graduated from Jamestown Business College. Darlene had a fulfilling career working for the Private Industry Council and Jamestown Police Department.

Outside of work, Darlene found joy in gardening, canning her own food, quilting, crafting, and taking care of her numerous dogs and cats. She had a knack for finding stray animals and caring for them. She enjoyed old classic movies and music.

Darlene is survived by her son Jason Reynolds of Hanover County, VA, stepson Paul Luce of Brockport, stepdaughters Jessica Amato of Coudersport, PA, Ashley Luce of Columbus, Ohio, Amber Luce and Erica Fisher of Franklinville, and her beloved grandchildren Avery, Maddox, Atlas, Christian, Auriella, Bella, and Jane.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Evelyn Lucille (Ellis) Johnson and her husband Jeff Luce.

The family will receive guests from 5pm - 7pm on Thursday (March 7, 2024) at VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. A brief graveside service and burial will follow at Myrtle Cemetery, Clark's Corners, Kennedy at 1pm on Friday (March 8, 2024).
