Darrell Dennis Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Burial: to follow at Arwine Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m.
Brent, as he was known to his family and friends, was born Sept. 19, 1980, graduated from L.D. Bell High School and attended Tarrant County College while working for Pappadeaux in Bedford. He had recently moved to Austin with his fiancee to attend school there.
Brent was a charming, honest, kind and intelligent man, whose life was centered around his family and friends.
Survivors: Fiancee, Emily Crawford; father and stepmother, Darrell Craig and Violet Dennis; mother and stepfather, Tracy and Randy Marsh; brothers, Bradley Sr. and his wife, Brianna and Bryan Dennis; sisters, Breanne Dennis, April and Amanda Adams and Cora Emert; grandparents, Estelle Shook, Bob and Sandy Dennis, Dolores Hinsey and Doris and Thomas Marsh; nephews, Bradley Jr. and Tristen; and many, many friends.

Hello everyone. I am so sorry it has taken this long for me to type an entry. There hasn't been a day go by that Brent is not in my thoughts.I can hear his laugh, see his smile, and picture his head religiously moving up and down to the music. I am very fortunate to have met him and to have shared so many wonderful memories with Brent. Weither it was picking him up for bowling first period or if it was getting him back for flouring my car. Tracy - I was so saddened when I heard the news. I can only imagine the pain and loss you must feel. I remember Brent when he was younger and what spirit. I can't describe how saddened I was when I heard about Brent. He will be deeply missed by me and many, many others. I was a friend of Brents - actually he was more like the son that I never had. He and my daughter Ashlee went to school together, and they were close friends. Brent will be dearly missed. I pray the Good Lord will be with you his family on the days ahead of you.
