March 3rd, 2012 to March 3rd, 2019.... It has taken these seven years to dull the pain of your death in my heart. You spring up in photos and memories just a breath away from life. Darrell, you should be able to step out for just awhile. You have in some precious dreams...almost. You woke up in Glory and now call it home. Eternal love, your sister.

My favorite cousin when I came to Edmonton to meet family members. RIP Darrell - I only had a short time with family there but we had so much fun staying up late at Aunt Hilda's!

I was indeed greatly saddened at the news of Darrell's passing. I knew Darrell many many years ago through Canada Life Assurance. We were colleagues. He left a most positive mark on everyone he encountered. A true gem. The world is a lesser place because he has passed. Sincere condolences. Debi

dear brother: it's almost two years since you died. memories of all that i know of you flow through my heart and mind each day. losing you was an emotional earthquake for me, in part because as your older sister, i thought you would say goodbye to me first. in that i was a teenager when you were born, i had the privilege of loving you as a baby and throughout all 54 years of your life. you were industrious and ambitious, loyal and caring - sometimes impatient, and you had a great zest for life. i miss you so much. keep that candle burning! love forever, your sister judy

I was in shock to learn about Darrell's sudden departure. He was an amazing, optimistic, passionate man. Because of Darrell, I felt like a valued person. I will never forget the day when he and I had a heart to heart in his office and he told me that he saw a very bright future for me. Coming from an ambitious, intelligent man, that was a huge compliment. Darrell, thank you for believing in me and thank you for being such an amazing, supportive person. You always had a big heart and will be deeply missed. You'll forever be in our hearts. God Bless

Love you Dad. There are no words to adequately express all the things that you left me with. I hope that some of your sense of humour, your confidence, intelligence, resourcefulness and the light fun side you have will have rubbed off on me. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you or miss you. I hope you are looking down on us all and smiling. Just simply I hope you know how much we all loved and adored you xoxo,

I worked with your father when I first started in the business some 25 plus years ago. He was a great mentor. Whenever I ran into him at an insurance event or Advocis meeting he would always talk very proudly about all of you and try and update me on your where abouts! He was very proud. My sincere condolences.
