Darrell STARRIE

March 3rd, 2012 to March 3rd, 2019.... It has taken these seven years to dull the pain of your death in my heart. You spring up in photos and memories just a breath away from life. Darrell, you should be able to step out for just awhile. You have in some precious dreams...almost. You woke up in Glory and now call it home. Eternal love, your sister.

My favorite cousin when I came to Edmonton to meet family members. RIP Darrell - I only had a short time with family there but we had so much fun staying up late at Aunt Hilda's!

I was indeed greatly saddened at the news of Darrell's passing. I knew Darrell many many years ago through Canada Life Assurance. We were colleagues. He left a most positive mark on everyone he encountered. A true gem. The world is a lesser place because he has passed. Sincere condolences. Debi

I am so terribly sad to hear of Darrell's passing. I worked with him at Strategic for a short time. He was a very kind and generous man with a big heart. I hope Ronae, his children and extended family are coping to the best of their ability.

On this second anniversary of his passing we reflect on the huge impact Darrell had on people and the good things he did.

I was one of Darrell's clients. I just heard of his passing. What a wonderful guy. What a loss. My sincere condolences to his family.

I was so shocked to see Darrell's name here. I attended a couple of his seminars and found them to be so informative. He was so full of helpful information and advice and made the seminars very interesting. I also noticed that he would had a lot of respect for his colleagues and was great at mentoring. I am sure he is be greatly missed.

I was in shock to learn about Darrell's sudden departure. He was an amazing, optimistic, passionate man. Because of Darrell, I felt like a valued person. I will never forget the day when he and I had a heart to heart in his office and he told me that he saw a very bright future for me. Coming from an ambitious, intelligent man, that was a huge compliment. Darrell, thank you for believing in me and thank you for being such an amazing, supportive person. I am very sorry and sad to hear about Darrell's passing. I happily remember the golf games, his great spirit, his good nature and his honesty. I'm sure he's hitting the links as we wait for the snow to melt.

We were so sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. We were clients of Darrell's and we always enjoyed our visits in the office with him. He was always professional and helpful, but also came across as warm and always, always had time to visit. He is going to be greatly. Our thoughts are with you all.

I worked with your father when I first started in the business some 25 plus years ago. He was a great mentor. Whenever I ran into him at an insurance event or Advocis meeting he would always talk very proudly about all of you and try and update me on your where abouts! He was very proud. Darrell was a client of ours for the past 3 years, he was a wonderful man and a joy to work with. When we heard that he was sick we were all shocked and heartbroken. This is a sad day for everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, you have our deepest sympathy.
