John has certainly left us with a big "Shoe" to fill. He will be greatly missed. John was a pleasure to be with both on a personal and professional level these past 12 years. His knowledge and perspective will be hard to replace. He approached his job with a special passion and positivity that is becoming more of a rarity. John was also a good friend and will be missed by all of us at All-Steel. Our deepest sympathy is with John's Children and Family. God Bless. - The Magill Family

The "Shoe" was a very good man. I met him on the summit of Mt Wachusett around mid afternoon on Columbus Day, Oct 12, 2010. My life has been ever changed and he often told me his was as well. May you rest in Peace, John.

Shoe was certainly quite the person. We conversed about his technical knowledge for our facilities and then spent time talking about our lives and he always asked me if I was riding my bike or using my cross country skis. I will miss him.
