We were shocked as all were about Dave's sudden passing. We will miss him very much as a friendly and helpful face in the stake events.
We did not have a chance to sign the book at the funeral. But may we say what a wonderful funeral that was. Brad's tribute and history of his father and the family was outstanding. We don't know how he maintained his emotions through the tender and loving moments he shared about his father and mother. Ryan and Kim's musical talent added a sweet note to the tributes. Though we are not close personal friends, know our thought and our prayers have been with you throughout this emotionally trying period. May the Lord bless you as you cherish memories and adjust to a period without Dave.

So sorry to hear about David he and his father were both great men. His father taught me in high school and was one of my mentor's until his death.

I have known Dave since my first year in elementary school. He was older, and I looked up to him as a role model. I have always admired his kindness and goodness. I will miss him deeply.

You have my deepest sympathies at your loss of Dave. Dave was a great guy who was always ready to help other "newbies" who were learning the ropes at HP. I was lucky to have worked with him and experienced his generous and helpful nature. I still remember laughingly comparing notes with him when we both ended up switching to "standing to work" all day after back problems. Most people would be sorry for themselves, but, not Dave - he tackled dealing with back problems like every other problem - there had to be a solution and he worked to find it, and shared his observations, too! :-) A very nice man, generous, clever and helpful to all around him. I'm happy to have known him and sorry to see him depart so very soon. - Barb Rider, Retired, HP Vancouver, WA

I worked in Corvallis, on the HP-15C and HP-41C programs, at the time. Dave was on the ThinkJet team. We were so young and excited about what was possible! We all grew up some during those years; later on, HP was a different kind of company. I am very sorry to hear Dave died; there were so many years to still enjoy with his family and loved ones. Peace and deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him.

I am shaken upon hearing of Dave's passing. I was a co-worker at Hewlett Packard. My heart goes out to your family. He was always so kind to me, always so smart, always a leader. I am so sorry for your loss. I send my love and condolences.

Not only was he my bishop for years, He taught my seminary class for 2 years. Though I went inactive from the church for years, his teachings and words rang through to my heart and have stayed with me. I will always love and respect this man.

Dave was more than a friend, we lived together all during our time at USU. We all were sure he was the smartest man on campus. Although we have been seperated for many years by miles, his spirit has never been far away. He was my inspiration, a true brother.

What an example of Christ like love he had for mankind. We will miss him greatly. It is a privilege to have been his friends. You will all be in our prayers.

Lowe family - So sorry for your loss. We have appreciated his friendship and leadership through the years. He was our Bishop when we left for our first mission and guided us in other callings we have had since then. Our prayers are with your family.

Dave was a great man, great teacher, leader and example to me. What kind of guy takes a bunch of immature 15 year olds hiking 50 miles on scouting trips in the wilderness...this guy. I always looked up to him and loved him for his willingness to serve and give generously of his time and experience. To the Lowe family, sure love you and are praying for you in your time of sadness.
