David Robert Alban

Alban David Robert Alban, 82, of Columbus, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Practiced law in Columbus for 57 years. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church, former member of Miami Ave. (Welsh) Presbyterian Church. Graduate of North High School, The Ohio State University (B.S. & J.D.) in 1955. Veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a First Lieutenant. Partner in the firm of Alban & Alban, L.L.P. Preceded in death by his parents David A. and E. Alice Alban, sisters Emogene Alban and Ruth Ann Williams. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sue. C. Alban; sons, David A. Alban and Glenn F. (Cindy) Alban; and daughter, Megan B. (Lawrence) Hosey; brother, J. Calvin (Diane) Alban; grandchildren, Austin N. Hosey, William R. Alban, Christian Sorensen. 56 year member of the Columbus Bar Association, Columbus Lodge #30, F.&A.M., Aladdin Shriners, 32nd Degree Masons, Valley of Columbus, A.A.S.R., Past President of the Mercator Clubs of American, and Mercator Club of Columbus, Past President of the Welsh Singing Society of Columbus. David and Sue were avid travelers and enjoyed traveling the world with their family and friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 3-6 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where a Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. with Rev.
