It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David on November 27, 2014 at 71 years of age. Cherished husband of Denise Augustine (nee Rose) for 46 years. Loving father of Michael Augustine, Chantal Windmoller (Ben) and Bridget Bray (Marlon). Treasured grandpa of Paul, Corinne and Kaelyn. Loved son-in-law of Beatrice Rose and the late Adrien Rose. Dear brother-in-law of Suzanne Rose, Gloria Spencer (Chuck), Marguerite Sullivan (Dominic), Adrien Rose (Carol) and Marian Friars. Adored uncle of Chris LaBelle (Tracy, Brett), Chrystal Bracken (Steve, Brodie), Joshua and Lindsay Rose, Cassandra, Danielle and Nicholas Friars. Waiting to meet him in Heaven is his beautiful granddaughter Carys Bray. While he will always be missed, Dave leaves us with amazing memories. He had an effervescent joy in all things, especially his love of life and his many rescued furry friends. We know that he will be forever watching over us from above. Miss you already. If you so desire, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. A private family service was held. Interment has taken place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. I HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH DAVE AT HOME DEPOT, HE INSPIRED ME WITH HIS PASSION FOR HIS BACKYARD WATER FEATURES. LIKE THE FOUNTAINS HE LOVED TO WATCH, HIS SPIRIT WILL FLOW THROUGH FOREVER .

I met Dave at Home Depot and asked him if
he knew any of the Augustines in Kingsville. He said he lived in Kingsville as a youngster and was a
distant relative. He remembered one
winter, skating out on the lake and
some of the Red Wing players invited
some of the Montreal Canadien players
for a skate on the lake in Kingsville.
He said it was great to skate right
along side of his hockey heroes.
Even though I only met Dave that one time I found him to be a real down to
earth and friendly guy.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Home Depot as well. He made me feel important and valued. I will treasure the photos I took of him, and a man like him cannot be replaced in one's life. We were so blessed to know him!

I had the honor to work with Dave at Home Depot. He was a gentle man. He spoke of his beautiful family and his dog. ( both Molly and the new addition.)He will be greatly missed.
