David BALE Obituary
Suddenly on Monday, June 20, 2016. David Bale beloved husband of Janie. Loving father of Ari and Yafa. Dear brother and brother-in- law of Ron (Jan) Bale, Deni (Ken) Jones, and Andy Bale (Snooky Bellomo). Cherished uncle of nieces and nephews. Will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues of the Leo Baeck Day School and dear friends of the Camp Tamakwa community. A funeral service will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave West on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment: Temple Sinai Congregation section, Pardes Shalom Cemetery. Shiva: 97 Hillsdale Ave W, Toronto. Shiva visits following the interment 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m., Friday 1 – 4 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday 1 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Evening services Thursday and Sunday through Tuesday at 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Beit Halochem Canada 905-695-0611.

I will always cherish the memories of Dave taking my son, Justin Swartz, under his wings, when saying goodbye to his mom at the bus going to Tamakwa, which was soo.. hard! (1988/89) I am so sorry for your loss!

So sorry to learn of your tremendous loss Janie. My mother Judy Mussman and your dad were first cousins and you and I met when you were visiting one summer in Chicago. We and the Yampol cousins went to see a movie together. I think it was Blazing Saddles or Oh God. My son Josh was a counselor at Camp Tamakwa about 11 years ago. So very sorry for your loss, heartbreaking, such a gentle love-able guy, we played basketball together for years at the JCC--he had some really great moves on the court and a very good friend of my sister Naomi. May his memory always be a blessing. Hope you all are finding love and comfort in friends and family.
