DAVID JOHN BARBY

23rd April 1943 - 25th July 2012
Aged 69 years

Eternally beloved and cherished husband of 39 years to Janet, deeply loved by his devoted sister Sheila, dearest brother-in-law to Graham (Moule) and John and Rebecca (Hithersay),
adored uncle of Adrian and Amanda Barby-Moule,
Sarah and Christopher Pitt, Dylan and Isla Hithersay
and his great nephew and nieces.

In accordance with David and Janet's wishes
there will be a small private family service,
followed by, at a later date to be announced,
a thanksgiving service for David's life
in the Parish Church of St. Andrew, Rugby.

The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the Rugby Paramedics, Mr. M. Choksey and his team of neurosurgeons, the Critical Care and High Dependency Units at the University Hospital Coventry for their faultless, professional, medical care.

Janet would personally wish to thank the Reverends Peter Beresford and Pamela Gould from the Church of England,
the Reverends Anthony Orr and Dr. Michael Bochenski of the Baptist Church and, highly valued, family and friends
for their spiritual and loving support.

A unique, incomparable, wonderful man who enriched the lives of countless people with so much light and joy.

A true English gentleman,
Rugby born and bred, and proud to be so.
