DAVID Cary, NC LEWIS BELL David Lewis Bell, 76, of Cary, North Carolina, passed away on May 5, 2024. He was born on February 4, 1948, in Pendleton, Indiana.

David served as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager in the Farmers Corporate Division. He was a dedicated professional who excelled in his career.

He attended Pendleton Grade School and graduated from Pendleton High School in the class of 1966. David furthered his education at St. Francis University in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, earning a BA in Business Administration in 1970.

David was a Deacon at the Presbyterian Church of Dayton, OH, where he found solace and community.

In his free time, David enjoyed Cruising, having embarked on over 50 cruises worldwide. He was an avid sports enthusiast, with a special love for the Cincinnati Reds, Durham Bulls, and the Raleigh Hurricanes Hockey Team.

David is survived by his high school sweetheart and devoted wife of 57 years, Cheryl L. Bell; his loving son, Bradley David Bell, who was his primary caretaker during his battle with Dementia; his daughter, Shannon Bell Grinstead of Broadlands, VA; grandsons Sebastian Bell and Spencer David Bell; and granddaughters Grace and Caroline Grinstead. He was predeceased by his parents, Miriam and Howard Bell of Pendleton, Indiana.

An informal remembrance service will be held in Pendleton Park later this summer. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to HOSPICE in memory of David Bell.

There are many fond memories of our years together in Springboro-card club, dining out, outdoor concerts, surprise parties! Dave was typically the calming member of our group, but always fun-loving too!

My thoughts are with all of the Bell family. RIP, dear Dave.
