To the Bellerose Family: We are so very sorry for your loss. David handled the funerals for our Dad (in 2002) and our Mom (in 2009). He was one of the nicest people we have ever met. A true professional but with compassion. We will never forget his kind ways. Rest in peace, David. You will be missed.

To David's family, so sorry for your loss! I am a priest of the Diocese of Worcester and got to work with Dave doing funerals for many years. Not only was he a great funeral director, but I also got to know him as a friend. I knew his days were numbered and he lived every one of them to the fullest. May God bless him for a wonderful life of Service!

David's passing is such sad news. He was a delightful gentleman that made you feel like a good friend every time you were lucky enough to run into him. He fought such a valiant battle. We hope his family finds comfort in knowing that he was held in high regard and will be missed by everyone lucky enough to know him.

David was the funeral director at Brittons funeral home when both my parents died in the late 80s and then again at day brothers when my granddaughter died in 2020. He remembered my family and I was truly touched. His compassion, kindness and exquisite professionalism in all three events was remarkable. i will remember him always. I am so sorry and sad to hear of his passing.

Dear Kim, Alex, and Annie, Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We met Dave after Sunday mass at St. Roch's Church at the weekly coffee and donuts gathering where we all met and discussed our families, jobs, and health. There were quite a few from our church community that would gather. It began with 3, to, 5, 6, to some weeks 14 or more at our table. We would exchange stories about, work, family and especially what all our kids were up too. When Dave was not there we all became concerned. We knew it was probably a week where he was having treatment or a set back. We knew he would be back. Dave was a man of strong Catholic faith and he fought hard for his family. He also loved his job as a Funeral Director and was so proud he could guide and support families with their loss. Dave was a true soldier of God in all respects for his faith and family. Dave was a volunteer greeter at St. Roch's. It was so nice to see you Alex and your Dad at
St. Roch's on Ash Wednesday. I believe it was fate one last time. We will all miss you Dave, You were one
class act, humble and a gentleman. He was a determined to try and beat Melanoma, but said at the beginning he knew the treatments were only giving him extended time and being with his family was important and was his number 1 goal.
As he departed our weekly coffee group, he often said I am off to Market Basket where he and Vinney would often see each other again. Well Dave we know this is not the way you wanted it to end, but as we bid adieu, and we are raise our glasses and say goodbye for now and we hope when it is our time to depart you will be one of the greeters to guide us through. Rest In Peace friend you fought hard.

Dear Kim, Alex and Annie - My most sincere and deepest sympathies to you. Dave sure fought hard to have more time. He could not have done that without all of you supporting him. He was so proud of you girls, and he always kept us up to date with your lives. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs

Hello Dave, you will be missed by so many, including all of us from your melanoma group. I recall how often you would arrive, dressed in your suit and tie, a hat and dress shoes, looking great, and always with your signature hello and smile. You brought so much to our little group, words of wisdom, a toast to reality when we faced a hard discussion, and a follow up of encouragement, optimism and enthusiasm to see the best is yet to come. You always carried the group with a gentle hand and a safe, welcoming manner. You also brought a wonderful sense of humor to the session; your quick one liner could make the discussion veer off into a safe place. I can't image the group without you.
To Dave's family: I want to convey my deep sadness at your loss. What we, his friends feel, cannot compare to what your grief must be. I want you to know that Dave spoke of each of you many times in our little group, and he always spoke about you with love and concern for your well-being. Dave recognized how his illness affected each of you and frequently discussed how to protect you, communicate with you, how to manage so many details together and how to care for you all. His love for his family was evident in all he shared. Dave spoke with such pride in all of you. Such concern for his wife, such gratefulness for his family. You succeeded in supporting him, he said that you did that so many times. Your support was a constant that he was sure of and loved you all for. He seemed to always know he had you all, and you all were all he truly needed.
Much is communicated in a support group like ours, and we all came to know Dave for the fine Gentleman he was, the professional man, and the strong man he was. We loved him. We will miss him. I personally want to tell you how much he contributed to all of us, and how wonderful it was to come to know him over these many years. Thank you for everything, Dave. Your work is done, you did great, now rest in peace.
