David V Boston

David Vernon Boston, age 65, passed away on Nov 26th, 2016. Born in 1951 in Bradenton to Roswell David Boston and Alice "Louise (Fortson) Boston, David was a life-long resident of Manatee County, fourth generation. An avid outdoorsman, David spent as much time as he could on the water fishing. He loved to hunt as well and traveled the US extensively looking for his next big catch. A graduate of Manatee High in 1969, David went on to trade school to study as an electrician. He founded and operated Boston Electric for over 30 years. David is survived by his two children; Leah (Andrew) Cole and Chelsea (RJ) Tehan; 4 Grandchildren, Wyatt, Reagan, Charlotte and McKenna. He is also survied by his brother Steve Boston, the mother of his children Rebecca Boston; and his partner, Diane Baird; along with many other family and friends. The family of David would like to thank all of the wonderful caretakers at Dorcas House ALF as well as Tidewell Hospice. A Celebration of Life is planned for Thursday December 1st from 5 to 7pm, at the home of his daughter Leah Cole 6030 22nd Ave Dr E Palmetto, Fl. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in his name to Dor-cas House of Bradenton or Tidewell Hospice of Manatee County.
