Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 23, 2018.
David Ashley Bradshaw, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018, into the arms of his Heavenly Father, his Savior, Jesus, and in the presence of his children and grandchildren. It was a beautiful moment as he made the transition.
Born in the early morning of May 20, 1949 in Great Bend, Kansas to his parents, Kermit and Francis Bradshaw, who preceded him in death along with two of his grandchildren, Kendall Bradshaw, Leah Powell and his brother Alvin Bradshaw.
He is survived by his beloved children, Laura Powell & husband John; Steven Bradshaw and wife Glenna, their children, Emma Powell, Eli Powell, Faith Powell, Lila Powell, Hayden Bradshaw, Carson Bradshaw, Kamryn Bradshaw and Berkley Bradshaw. He loved them all more than they know.
At some later day, a private party with barbeque, Cole Slaw and tator salad will be arranged for close family members. David was a lover of dogs and people, and he asks that any donations be made directly to both who are in need.
Cremation was conducted under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

I always liked hearing "Dave from Texas" call in to the Power Hour Talk show. He had such great stories and such a wonderful radio voice. Later we were lucky to read some of his writings on the Power Hour Website. In November I was sorry to hear through an email communication with him that he no longer had the strength to submit any more writings. Though never having personally met him I feel the loss of a friend. I thank him for his stories which always brought a smile to my face. May he rest in peace.
