David Joe Cottingham DARLINGTON - The family of the late Mr. David Joe "Big Dave" Cottingham invites members and friends to attend the Homegoing Service on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 at 1p.m. in the Glorious Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Bishop Joe Hines Pastor and Mrs. Linda Hines First Lady. Burial will follow in the Backus-Bacote Cemetery, Darlington. He was the son of the late Aaron and Daisy Bell Cottingham and passed away quietly at home after an extended illness on Dec. 3, 2009. The family will receive members and friends at the home of Joe Lewis Blvd., Darlington. Surviving are; his wife; Shirley Cottingham of Greensboro, his father, Mr. Aaron Joe of Darlington; eight daughters; six sons; five stepchildren; thirty-seven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and a special cousin: Mrs. Patsy Mitchell.
