I was shocked and saddened to learn yesterday of Dave's sudden passing on 23 May.
As a longtime beta tester I have felt part of a very priviledged and personal family group, with Dave as the "father".
His incredible, even obsessive drive and determination to constantly make MTU products offer ever more features and improvements has kept this group very active for many years - for me, since the late 90's!
I offer my deepest - albeit belated - condolences to dear Lynne and all his family and friends.
Rest in Peace. MikeP

Lynn, I was so shocked to learn of Dave's passing. I can't tell you how Special I personally thought he was. He has even shown concern for my Husband after learning of his disabilities as a result of being in Viet Nam and even recognized him on the Forum after he was honored on Veterans Day. My husband and I both felt honored just to have known him, even if only because of MTU products. As one of the Beta Testers, he made me feel important and made my husband very proud. Please accept our heartfelt condolences! Fred&Gerri Weit (FL)

Lynne, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dave was more than just a business aquaintance to me. He was a good friend and kindred soul. I will miss his long phone calls dearly and I will miss my dear, dear friend. God bless you and Bryan and the rest of your family.

Dave was among the kindest people I have ever met. He was always so real, transparent, and caring. I just felt so loved when talking with Dave because the love of Christ was so apparent in his life. Lynne, our continued prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I am so so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. Hallie motioned me over to tell me and I didn't know what to say. Hallie and I both are deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved. Dave was among the kindest people I have ever met. When we talked which was not often be it by phone or Skype, he was always so real, transparent, and caring. I just felt so loved when talking with Dave because the love of Christ was so apparent in his life. Hallie and I share our deepest sympathies at a very difficult time. Lynne, I am so shocked to learn of the "Homegoing" of David...I was in Murphy, NC for the past week at my grandson's wedding. I learned about David from Kim when she arrived Friday Night. May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you during this most difficult time. Love you, Arlene

Lynne, you and Dave are our best friends and we love you with all our hearts. Dave loved the Lord and never failed to show that love, no matter the situation he was in personally. I will miss him greatly, but I know as his Christian brother that we'll see him again when God calls us home to be with him. Always and forever your friends.

David was a good man who was always friendly to all he met. I enjoyed being in Sunday School with you and him at TBC and he always brought a strong Christian perspective to his discussion of the lessons.
He will be missed but is now pain and worry free.

I was privileged enough to speak to Mr. Cox on many occasions as a telephonic nurse. He was always in a optimistic mood and found the positive side of every encounter he had. I enjoyed every outreach I made to him, as our conversations led to him educating me more than I could ever educate him. He touched me each time we talked, as he was always happy to hear from me and he would inevitably brighten my day. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of loss. He will be greatly missed.

I am sorry for your loss. Indeed it is the World's loss. As Dave's early business partner for 14 years, I know that he always strove to serve others in his business and personal life. He was a quality person who replicated and dispersed that quality to every friend and every customer. The World will move a little slower without him.
