I remember Mr. Cradle from when I was a little girl. He and his family were one of the tenants in our apartment building when we lived in Queens. That was 49 years ago. I remember when the Cradle Family first moved to Connecticut and my family and I went to their house. Their house was in a wooded area & his son, another friend and I would play outside. I had so much fun. Mr. Cradle was always so nice & cracking jokes. Ursula was so sweet & always had goodies for us kids to eat. These were good times. The Cradle Family and my family were friends for many, many years. David Cradle was one of my father's closest friends for many years. I know my father is hurting so much from the passing of his buddy. My dad & Mr. Cradle loved to play card games & played cards for over 40 years. I haven't seen the Cradle Family in a very long time, but my dad always kept me abreast with how his family was doing. I was pleased to hear that Melanie had become so successful & eventually had her own family. I was proud of her, and I was happy when she provided her parents with much joy when she made them grandparents. My heart cries for all who are hurting & sad over Mr. Cradle's passing. I pray for God's peace and comfort to cover them. Mr. Cradle, may you now rest in peace in a beautiful place with no pain & suffering. May you continue to look after your family & let them feel your presence.
