David Daly Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 20 to Oct. 27, 2016.
Daly, David John (Poles, Cavan and Kilkenny)

On the First Anniversary of David's death, his Family would like to thank most sincerely our extended Family, Friends, Neighbours, Colleagues and everyone who sympathised with us on our great loss and supported us throughout the past year. We are deeply grateful to the many hundreds of people who came to pay their respects to David and those who called personally to the house, signed the condolence books, sent flowers, sympathy cards, letters and messages of support. We particularly want to thank the local Community in Killygarry and our exceptional neighbours, who have helped and cared for us in so many ways, before, during and since the Funeral. Your continued support and thoughtfulness is an enormous comfort to us. We wish to thank David's colleagues in An Garda Siochana, particularly his friends and Colleagues in Athy, and the Gardai in Cavan and Kilkenny. Thank you to the countless more Gardai of every rank who visited from all over the country, and ensured his Funeral was carried out with the utmost respect and dignity. We offer a heartfelt thank you to the Cardinal, Bishop, all the Clergy and everyone involved in David's Removal and Funeral Mass, including the Mass servers, singers, musicians, members of the Garda Band, stewards, and Guards of Honour. We are grateful to McMahon Funeral Directors for their professionalism, sensitivity and kindness. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation. Your kindness and support will always be remembered. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The First Anniversary Mass for David will take place on Sunday, October 23 rd. in St. Brigid's Church, Killygarry, Cavan at 10 am. May he rest in peace.
