David Eldon III

David Eldon III, age 84, of Canandaigua, NY, passed away peacefully, on November 2, 2022. He is survived by two children, Jamie Eldon of Williamsburg, VA, and Kathryn Zwillman of Randolph, NJ; three grandchildren, Hailey Patrice Eldon, Scott David Zwillman and Andrew Daniel Zwillman. Dave was a graduate of Northwood School in Lake Placid, NY and Colgate University. He excelled at ice hockey and played varsity for four years, at both schools. Dave was a member of the DKE fraternity and the Silver Puck Club. He raised his family in Chatham, NJ and while there was President and Coach of KHICS, a youth hockey club. Dave was a member of Canoe Brook Country Club and the Noe Pond Club. He had a summer home in Avalon, NJ and enjoyed sailing his Catalina 22. Dave was an executive for The Standard Register Co. for 15 years, and eventually founded his own firm in 1989, Eldon Associates, Inc., a printing and promotional advertising firm that he operated until 2021. His memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, at 11 am, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua.
