We are so shocked to hear about David's death this morning at the coffee shop. I just completed a short hospital stay so we have been out of touch this week. And so sorry to miss stopping by the funeral home to give you all a hug. Dave is in our prayers. Jim & Brenda Barnes

To the Emery Family. My goodness, so much, so fast. He always bragged about all of you. He loved all of you, so very much. We will all miss Dave! Aunt Diane, Jennifer, John David and families; I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Dave. Always quick witted with a joke and a contagious smile - his presence will forever be missed. My deepest sorrow that I cannot attend the services in person. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families today, and in the days to come. He will be missed, but none greater than by all of you. May it bring you comfort to know that he no longer suffers here on earth, but is whole again in heaven with God and the angels. "Uncle" Dave may not have been my uncle by blood but, he was my uncle by love! He was always there for my whole family and is one of the greatest men I will ever know. His heart and giving attitude live on in the people he touched (myself, graciously included). A lot of who he was is passed on to my sons through me. My thoughts, prayers & love go out to my Aunt Diane and cousins Jenn & John! I wish I could do more than simply send a "cyber hug" from the Lone Star State. Heaven is a happier place today.
