I knew David and Duchy from the world of collecting. I had an antiques shop and antiques center in Madison that they visited and I saw them at the antiques shows that I attended all over the Mid-Atlantic region. They were fun and fun to be with. David once told me that he was on a seafood diet. It was the first I'd heard of such a fad and we both laughed when I realized that David meant see-food. Good joke. Good friends. Good bye. I'll be coming 'round the mountain soon, too.

Dave was responsible for the direction and development of my sporting collection. He became a dear and cherished friend over the last 35 years of knowing him. He leaves a huge hole in my heart, and I will miss him terribly. Sending non-stop prayers for your family's comfort.

To David's family, he was a wonderful man, he was so good to us that worked for him, in taking care of Dutchy, his wife. We loved them both! I am so sorry, we will all miss him!!!

I am happy that I got the chance to know Dave a bit over the last few years. He was truly a humorous and kind man. We will miss his visits during the holidays. He added a lot of laughter to our recent Christmas Eve gatherings. Sincere condolences to his family and friends, as we know that he will be missed.
