David Robert Fetterolf

David Robert Fetterolf of Langhorne went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was 79 years old. Born on July 23, 1942 in Germantown, he was the son of the late Seth and Gertrude Fetterolf. A graduate of Delhaas High School, David enlisted with the United States Navy in 1960 and served dutifully for 6 years, including 2 years with the Reserves. He then embarked on a long career that saw him work for US Steel, Leeser Hardware, and finally, Sherwin-Williams Company for 15 years until his retirement. He was a clever craftsman who had a great talent for constructing, repairing and renovating… he was a true jack-of-all-trades. Strong in stature and determination, David loved nature and had a warm spot for animals in and out of the house. He loved to walk outside and feed the deer in his backyard. Kittens and cats that wandered across his path were cared for and fed. Above all, Dave will be remembered for the immense love he showed his family. He is survived by his loving spouse of 57 years, Bernice (nee Konkle), whom he met in her home state of Wisconsin while serving in the Navy, and his beloved children, Laura Hood (Bob), Donna Fassano, and Daniel (Valerie) Fetterolf. He was the devoted grandfather of Tammy (Chris), Bob (Mayra), Kristin, Jamie, Steve (Christina), Jon (Vicki), Seth, Morgan, and Graham. He was the doting great-grandfather of Christopher, Amber, Olivia, Luke, and Lily. He was also the loving brother of Alfred Fetterolf (Elaine). David's Life Celebration and inurnment is private.
