David E George

David E. George, 83, of Chandler, AZ, passed away on September 19, 2023. He was born on November 1, 1939, in Clearfield, PA. David was the husband of the late Janet Malley.

David is survived by his loving children: David C. George (Helen), Pamela Cappione, Cheryl George (Ron Green), Joe George (Kelly), Cindy Long (Rick), and Christa George. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Helen George, as well as his brothers Cliff, Lisle, and Melvin, and his sisters Naomi and Esther. He was the last survivor of his family.

Upon moving to Arizona in 1963, David began his career at Hargrave's Body Shop. Through his dedication and hard work, he eventually became the owner of the company. Later, he transitioned to the insurance industry and became the Physical Damage Supervisor at Safeway Insurance, where he worked until his retirement in 2011.

In his leisure time, David enjoyed woodworking and photography. These hobbies allowed him to express his creativity and capture cherished moments.

His Interment will be held on October 25, 2023, at 11 am in West Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale, AZ. The family will also host a Celebration of Life in the New Year to commemorate his memory.
