David Glodowski Obituary

David Glodowski, 48, Neenah, lost his courageous nine month battle to cancer on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Cherry Meadows Hospice with his family and friends by his side. He was born October 11, 1962, in Neenah, son of Jerome and Mary Glodowski. David loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking. Another hobby of his was making model airplanes and flying them. David also loved his many cats. He was employed 20 years for Franks Pizza Palace, Appleton and most recently worked for O'Charley's until January.

David is survived by his loving wife, Tammie Glodowski, who was by his side through it all; parents, Jerome (Mary) Glodowski, Neenah; his children: Shaun (Kristina) Glodowski of Du Pont, WA; Jana (Ryan) Nantelle of Clintonville; Kassandra Glodowski of Yorba Linda, CA; a granddaughter, Lilian Glodowski and one granddaughter expected in December; a brother, Donald (Jackie) Glodowski of Menasha; other relatives and many friends.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents and baptismal sponsors, Joseph and Lucy Weyers; and grandparents, Louis and Cecilia Glodowski.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in David's name.

David's family wishes to thank ThedaCare at Home Hospice along with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara for their loving care and compassion.
