David Goldner

Louisville - David Edward Goldner, 64, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, with his family by his side. Born on April 16, 1960, in Louisville, he was the son of Edward and Jane Goldner.

David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen (Egan); his son, Justin; and his mother, Jane. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed. He also leaves behind in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends from both Louisville and Fort Myers, Florida.

He grew up as an active member of Immanuel Church of Christ and graduated from Seneca High School, where he played football. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.

David built a successful career in industrial sales and later co-founded System Solutions of Kentucky, where he ultimately retired. Following retirement, he enjoyed spending time between Louisville and Fort Myers.

An avid sportsman, David loved playing golf and softball. After meeting Karen through mutual friends in 1992, they married the following year. The birth of their son Justin in 1995 became a defining joy in David's life. He took great pride in supporting Justin's athletic pursuits-especially lacrosse-and cherished their shared time golfing and deep sea fishing. He also found happiness boating with family and friends at Nolin Lake.

Known for his vibrant personality and generous spirit, David brought energy to every gathering and supported numerous charitable causes close to his heart.

A private Celebration of Life will be held.
