David Gourley Obituary
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years Marie Gourley; son, David Gourley, Jr and wife Danielle; daughter, Tammie Alexander and husband Kirk; grandchildren, Korrie Alexander, Conner Alexander, Lukas Gourley and Avery Gourley; brothers, George Gourley and wife Dina, Charles Gourley and wife Barbara and Sam Gourley; a number of nieces and nephews and "his fur babies" Julio, Rosa, and Benita.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory with Pastor Bob Roark officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231; or Omega Faith Ministries, P O Box 2339, Lenoir, NC 28645 or The American Cancer Society, P O Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

My deepest condolences go to the family of David Gourley today as we celebrated his life and his passage from this realm to his eternal home in glory. He was loved by his church family of Omega Faith Ministries of Hickory. He will be sorely missed.

Marie, David Jr, Tammie and family, we are so sorry for your loss. We have been Sams neighbors for a long time. He always spoke highly of all his brothers. David will be missed by all that new him. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
