DAVID HABERMAN Obituary
On Sunday, December 6, 2009, of Shaler, age 58. Beloved husband of Cheryl (Dankmyer) Haberman; father of Jennifer (Nathan) Kenna, Jessica (Justin) Krysinski and Nicholas (Lindsay) Haberman; grandfather of Braden Krysinski; son of Albert Haberman and the late Ruth Haberman; brother of Helene Krawf, Carolyn (James) Pschirer, Roberta Szelc, Michael Haberman, Patricia (Gregory) Ruffner, Stephen (Kimberly) Haberman, Andrew (Cheryl) Haberman and Matthew (Traci) Haberman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received Tuesday, 2-5 and 7-9pm at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Services will be held in Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw on Wed. at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the family for a Memorial Bench at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

David was a very cool older cousin. He had a Frankenstein laboratory in his basement where he would "operate" on Helene & Caroline's baby dolls! Just one of the fond memories I have of him from our childhood together. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Haberman family. I hope the happy memories of him will help ease the pain of your loss.

Dear Cheryl and Haberman cousins,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I just spent some time re-reading emails from David to the cousins during his search for our family roots. Cheryl, I promise to print them out for you. They are from 9 years ago and he started the connections then with our large clan. Although he never found our relationship to Lady Drummond, he did give us a sense of being part of a larger family, especially for those of us who always lived so far away. For that, I will be forever grateful.

David's father(Albert)and my father (Paul Fleming) were cousins. David was two years older than me, and I have many fond memories of Sunday picnics and barbeques, as well as First Communion parties, where the Flemings and Habermans got together, sometimes with the Pantones.
