Preceded in death by his parents, Donald W. Hammond and Elsie McGill Hammond.
Survived by wife, Linda Faye Dyer Hammond; sons, David Jason Hammond (Angie), and James Mark Hammond (Tonya); daughter, Gina Annette Hammond; sister, Donna Jean House; sister-in-law, Shirley Annette Treadway; grandchildren, Carrie Harrell, Baylee Tabor (Gabe), Blake Hammond, Rorri (Davis) Edwards; Ethan Hammond, Lydia Hammond, and Triston; great grandchildren, Evelyn Edwards, and Wesley Edwards; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bridges Funeral Home. Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Hammond officiating. Family and friends to meet at Highland South Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service. Honorary pallbearers, blessed with many dear friends.
