His musical journey also included performing alongside his brother Ron in Springfield on the recorded album *Jack Amberlock and Blues Unlimited* and playing with The Cedar Creek Band and other area groups.

David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Barbara (Bidden) Hartman; his sons Timothy W. Hartman and Christopher P. Hartman of Port Charlotte; his sisters Faye Parker (Dane) of Andrews, North Carolina; Donna Kubik (Bob) of Deltona, Florida; Liz Thurber (John Maloney) of Albany, New York; Janet Everett (Rob) of Murphy, North Carolina; Ruth Hartman Velthouse (Dave) of Ludlow, Massachusetts; and Laurie Molnar of Simpsonville, South Carolina. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Charisa Hartman, Miranda Hartman, and Christopher Hartman of Florida; great-grandchildren Harper and Davey of Florida; sister-in-law Natalie Bidden Barsky of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Rob Hunsberger (Azeib) of Florida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

He was predeceased by his son James R. Hartman, his parents Robert P. Hartman and Bonnie L. Haney Hartman; his brother Ronald P. Hartman; and his sister Nancy Hartman Madden.

David's love for music and the joy he brought to those around him will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

I am so sad about your passing. Im sorry we didn´t get together more these past few years. But know that when we did, I was glad and happy to see you. The best times were when you were in Cedar Creek with Ron. I know you are together doing what you both loved in a Heavenly band, making beautiful music. And you must be so happy to be with Mom, Dad, Nancy, Ron, and especially Jimmy! Keep playing that music, and fly high with the Angels. Until we meet again! Love you brother!

Hey brother Dave, it was so sad when you left this earth. You are now with the rest that have left and gone before you and are probably playing in a Heavenly band with Ron. Say hi to all my loved ones for me. And a special hi to Ross. I'm sure he's playing the harmonica in the band. May you rest in peace, Dave.
Love, Liz

I´m so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately we never had the chance to meet and we live in he same street. It´s terrible loss and Tim is having a very hard time right now. Please watch over him Dave and the rest of the family. Hopefully I can meet them all soon and Tim will come home. I know you are the most important person in his life . He´s always afraid to disappoint you. That´s the hardest thing he carries. He loves you Barb and he really wishes he were home with you now. Everything will work out as planned. I believe that with my whole being. May you all be blessed by our Father in heaven and his son Hesus Christ. I have a quick poem I wrote. For survivors:
MOVE FORWARD WITH GREAT LOVE AND COURAGE. KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE. LOVE YOUR LIFE WITH THE INNOCENTS OF A CHILD AND WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER AND LOYALTY. ALL OF WHICH SHOULD BE SHARED WITH FAMILY ,FRIENDS, AND OUR FATHER FOREVER AND EVER. May you all find peace in the coming days and the rest of your lives. Until we meet (again? finally? lol just kidding Dave) I pray in the name of Jesus Christ AMEN
I don´t know how it turned into a prayer it just did. Until we meet Dave. I will take care of Tim. I promise. Probably wasn´t supposed to write a novel. I just had hoped to speak with you and Barb one on one someday soon and I don´t know how to approach the situation and the family now. Well one day. May you all be blessed and find peace.
