David Hawkins Obituary
David B. Hawkins, 70, of Bradenton, FL passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2023, in Venice, FL. Born May 28, 1952, in Tampa, FL to Joseph Hawkins, Jr. and Eugenia (Lopez) Hawkins. David is survived by brothers, Richard, Jeff, John and Jim; sisters, Nanci, Janet, Patricia and Cecelia. David was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gene, Paul and Joel. David served with the United States Army, was a cabinet maker and enjoyed woodworking and mechanics. He was generous to a fault. He was kind considerate to all. A Visitation will be held for David 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Brown & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 26th Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Church of Saint Patrick, located at 7900 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida 34241. Burial will be scheduled at a later date at the Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in David's name can be made to Bay Pines Foundation, P.O. Box 416, 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd. Building 22, Room 115, Bay Pines, Florida or at [email protected]. Condolences may be made to www.brownandsonsfuneral.com.
