David HENDRY Obituary
Peacefully at home on Sunday February 19, 2012. David Hendry, age 75 years. Loving husband of 48 years to Faye Hendry (nee Cousineau). Loving father of Michael (Caron), Bruce (Julie), Blair and daughter-in-law Jo- Ann. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Brandon, Alex, Anabelle, Quinn, Adam and Shelby. Dear brother of Lisbeth (late Peter), John (Margaret), Alie (Grace) and his sister-in-law Chris. Predeceased by his brother Sandy (Winifred). Caring uncle of Traceylynne (Terry), Leanne, Rian and numerous nieces, nephews & extended family. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday February 23, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM for visitation. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Friday February 24, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of David to the Do It For Daron Foundation( www.doitfordaron.com ) would be appreciated.

Mrs. Hendry and Family,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of a wonderful man, Mr. Hendry. It was always a pleasure having conversations with him and sharing a laugh. He certainly loved to tease. We will miss him passing through the lobby and sharing a laugh. 1320 building will never be the same without his insight.

Dear Faye, Mike, Bruce, Blair & families - myself, Alison, Craig & Scott were really sorry to hear the news this week that Uncle Dave had passed on. We shall remember him as a man who enjoyed a great sense of humour and laughed easily. I shall have particular memories of teasing Dave (& being teased!) during summer holidays at Marchhead when we were kids and you were over here. He will be much missed.
