David A. Hoole, 41, of Rome, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. David was born in New Hartford on July 9, 1969, the son of Bert J. Hoole and the late Alice Swiech, and received his education in local schools. For the past twenty years, he has been employed with Oriskany Garage Tire in Yorkville. At one time, David was married to the former Marie Pino. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and always enjoyed camping and boating. David is survived by his son, David A. Hoole, Jr., Rome; his father and stepmother, Bert and Sharon Hoole, Utica; his paternal grandmother, Alice Hoole, Utica; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Mike Foley, Utica; a brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Karen Hoole, Utica; nieces and nephews, Kyrstin Foley, Kaitlyn Foley, Michael Foley, Jr., Justin Foley, Richard Hoole, Jr., and Jonathan Hoole; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. David was predeceased by his mother, Alice, in 1996, and his sister, Pamela Hoole, in 1987. Mr. Hoole's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at 11:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Utica. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4-8. Those so wishing may make donations to a charity of their choice in David's memory.
