My condolences go out to the Hurst family. Sheri and I played volleyball way back in junior college and were roommates at Texas A&M. My memories of Sheri's dad was that he loved her very much and always ensured that she had what she needed. I have great memories of driving to Beeville to visit her father. While we were there, he made sure that she was safe and taking care of priorities with her care and at school. He was always joyful and happy around us and made me feel at home. He also supported us in having fun as we would take his boat to go skiing out on the lake in Conroe. I am so blessed to have been part of your father's journey. Prayers go out to your entire family because the pain of missing him will always be there but will get better. Always here for you, Love Melissa

He was my best friend for more years than I can remember
We went to lunch every day for over 15 years
We rode many miles on our Harleys, drank a lot of whiskey, swapped stories..... mostly true.
He built homes and I financed them
A true friend that always had my back
Friends don´t keep score and always has a place at each others table
Ride safe ole buddy
Me n u.... Grip to grip
Your friend Randy
