We were honored to have met and visited with David. We met him and his wife years ago when we attended dances at the Cowlitz Prarie Grange at Toledo. We felt so bad for the Ike Family when David's wife died so young.

We are so thankful that David lived long enough to see his Cowlitz Tribe be Federally recognized. It was a long, uphill legal fight to be won, but persistance paid off.

Roy and I are proud to know some of the Cowlitz Indian Tribal Members. We send our thought and prayers out to David's Family and Friends.
