I was fortunate to have had time with David when I was visiting the LOVE organization in Vancouver. He was dedicated to LOVE (Leave Out Violence ) through his consistent support and encouragement. He made a difference in the lives of the youth that we served. He was outspoken, generous, intelligent and a man to be highly respected. To my dear friends Richard and Satoko Ingram I send my deepest of sympathies on the loss of your dear brother. With much love, Twinkle Rudberg

David liked to tell the story how we met... in Hong Kong many years ago when he was visiting there with his mother. Years later, after I moved to Vancouver, we reconnected again. He was a good friend and will be missed. My sincere sympathy to his brothers and their families.

I met Dave through a mutual friend, Jim Walker. They had been together in CUSO and travelled the world together. It was enlightening to hear their stories and perspectives on the world. I have no doubt that Dave will continue doing great things in another realm.

David thanks so much for making my life so much happier! Will you come back and cheer me up as you did almost daily with all your occurrences and care? I will keep dancing on the streets of Vancouver with the same joy and fun that you lived in it and shared with friends so generously! ! will continue to celebrate with all your friends that you introduced to me to! They are all marvellous persons. I will never drink as much coffee as you did but will enjoy conversation and care for people from all parts of the world as you did! What a wonderful person you were David! God must be having fun with you !

On behalf of all of us at Leave Out Violence (LOVE) Society BC, we are deeply saddened by David's passing. For 15 years, David's dedication as a board member supporting young people in Vancouver to overcome violence and become leaders in their communities will always be remembered. His humour and passion will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with David's loved ones.

Very sad to hear of David's sudden passing.David was a special friend. We lunched together at Table 22 in the Yew restaurant and discussed our mutual interest in politics and resource companies as we said hello to the many familiar friends passing by.David was a frequent guest at our home for dinner loved my wife Karen's cooking. He was there working with Arthur Laing when my father Stuart became Commissioner of the NWT in 1967. He loved to connect people and counsel them on their careers and business decisions. He was a unique and special person that will be irreplaceable in my life.I will miss him.

To David's family, any words I might say would fall way short of being able to communicate my sorrow adequately. David was a special, valued friend ever since our days at UTS. You were truly unique, David, and we will never forget the joy, enthusiasm, intellectual insight, understanding and consideration you readily gave unselfishly to all.

David Ingram
A very good friend. Helpful in many ways as a friend and in business . Helped me start two companies and his advice was always meaningful and welcome. He was my friend for 11 years through thick and thin, good and bad, rich and poor. David was a great and honest confidant and I am pleased to have been his friend as he was to me. I met his brother several times I send my condolences to him.
I will miss David who was my breakfast at Granville Island, lunch and dinner companion in many of the best restaurants in Vancouvet, where he knew and was loved by the top owners and chefs in town. Coming to Vancouver without David there will not be the same.
He will be missed by all.
God bless you David, the best Canadian I knew.
Your really good friend Keith
