David Johnson Obituary
Please join the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, (May 6) 2023, at Brookside Cemetery for David's graveside service. His celebration of life will immediately follow David's graveside service, at the Shortsville Fire Department, 5 Sheldon Street, Shortsville, NY 14548.
In memory of David, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Shortsville Fire Department, Citizens Hose Company, 5 Sheldon Street, Shortsville, NY 14548,
David was born the son of the late Glenn and Mary Cornelia (Eberwein) Johnson on Wednesday, April 28, 1943, in Canandaigua, NY. He spent his life in the Shortsville area, graduating from Red Jacket High School class of 1961. David worked for Mobil Chemical and retired after over forty years. David was a member of the Shortsville Fire Department for over sixty-one years and the Twin Cities Lyons Club for over thirty years. David enjoyed working outdoors, mowing his lawn, sports, camping, playing cards, especially Euchre, and spending time with his family.
David will be remembered by his wife of forty-three years, Susan Johnson; a son, Matt Johnson; his daughter, Kristen Johnson; grandchildren, Estella and Kendra Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his siblings Rita (J.R.) Brockleback, Ken (Sylvia) Johnson, and Glenn (Alberta) Johnson.
