David Howard Jordan

Dave was my neighbor on G Avenue NW in Cedar Rapids, IA. I am 11 years younger and always looked up to him as one of the really nice people on our street. There were times in my grade school years that he entrusted me to do a simple task: bring in his mail when he had to travel. He and Mary and the kids are well remembered and appreciated. David was such a sweet sweet man. I was truly blessed to have know him for the few short years that I did. He will truly be missed by many.

He was the best man. I´m proud that he was my grandpa. I´ll cherish his stories, jokes/laugh, kindness, our library trips and his example every day. He cared for grandma so well, and now they can be together again. I love them both. Love you papa.

David was a patient, kind, and sincere friend. I will miss him. Prayers for the family. He is now with the love of his life, Mary.
