David Katchick Obituary
Born in Shamokin, Pa., he was a son of Samuel and Josephine Peek Katchick of Kulpmont, Pa.
Mr. Katchick received a B.S. degree from MUSC and served with Greenville County EMS from 1983 until 1997. He served in the U.S. Army for four years.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two sons, Brian Katchick of Brooks Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, and Joshua Katchick of the home; a daughter, Samantha Katchick of the home; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Mary Ann Katchick and their sons, Sean and Matthew, and Paul and George Ann Katchick, all of Kulpmont, Pa.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Mauldin United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Temple officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the David Katchick Family Donation Fund, Bank of America, 126 West Butler Road, Mauldin, SC 29662. - The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
