David Harold Kellar passed away on March 27, 2024, in Durham, North Carolina, at the age of 68. Born on February 14, 1956, in Cleveland, David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

David retired in 2017 as a Retail Manager and dedicated his time to his hobbies. He was an avid reader, history enthusiast, gardener, and nature lover. David found joy in cooking, hosting Sunday family dinners, watching football, antiquing, and collecting trains.

Family was at the center of David's life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Olga; his children Justin, Benjamin (Debra), Megan (Adam) Bailey, Aaron (Deanna), William, and Adelina; as well as his grandchildren Oliver, Theodore, Charles, Parker, Ariana, and Kiara. David is also survived by his brothers, Dr. William Kellar, Robert, and sister, Kathy (Brian) Roloff, along with his mother-in-law, Carmen Johns; many nieces, nephews, and grand dogs.
David was preceded in death by his loving parents, William and Mary Jane; father-n-law, James Johns; sister-n-law, Melissa and niece, Rihanna.

David was known for his infectious laughter, unwavering sense of humor, and positive outlook on life. His passion for football and model trains brought joy to those around him. David's exceptional qualities as a father and husband were evident to all who knew him.

The funeral services for David Harold Kellar will be held at Weaver & Peaks Memorial Funeral Care in Durham, North Carolina, with a private service for immediate family on April 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will also take place at a later date back home.

David will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
