DAVID WARREN
Age 78, of Crafton, peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Allshouse) LaSota; loving father of Laura (Greg) Sylvester of Jefferson Hills, Lisa (Terry) McWilliams of Portsmouth, RI, David (Kate) LaSota of Patton, PA, John (Tracey) LaSota of Robinson Twp., and the late Leslie LaSota; nine grandchildren, David LaSota, Ross and Ryan (Katie) Sylvester, Michael and Melissa McWilliams, Hannah and Elijah LaSota, and Nolan and Kylie LaSota; one great-grandson, Derek Sylvester; brother of Diane Miscoski of Baldwin Park, CA and the late Russell LaSota; also survived by nieces and nephews. Warren retired after 35 years of service from Bell Telephone, AT&T, and Lucent. He was a former Crafton volunteer fireman, council member, and coach with CIT Baseball and Crafton Little Cougars Football teams. Friends received 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the SCHEPNER - McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Philip Catholic Church. In memory of Warren's love of reading, memorial contributions may be made to the Crafton Public Library, 140 Bradford Ave., Crafton, PA 15205.

Although we are many miles away, we are mourning right along with you,by loosing a very special family member. Aunt Carol uncle Warren loved you very much he always braged about your garden. He was also very proud of all the children, he alway talked very highly of them, and also the grand children.My mom is going to miss him alot. Now he is with Leslie, Grandma &Grandpa. you know that they are looking down on us so we better be good.God has a very special Angel now he will be forever in our hearts. On Saturday we will be lighting a candle in his memory..love everyone always

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Warren. Please accept my condolences and sympathy. I worked with Warren in downtown Pittsburgh and we would have lunch together with the crew from Bell Telephone. I enjoyed our time spent together, he will be greatly missed. I will remember Warren in my prayers.

Although I never met Warren I believe in the old axiom that the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree and with that in mind I know Warren must have been a man of extreme integrity, of great character and a tremendous love of family because that is how I see his son David. Our deepest sympathy from the skeet and tennis communities that Dave Jr is so much a part of. May you have peace in knowing that your dad is resting in the arms of Jesus.
