LEASK, David William Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Nee Kimpton). David is predeceased by his parents, brother and sister. He will be fondly remembered by his cousins Eleanor Anne, David (Helen), Richard (Anne), Ralph (Jeanette) and Lea (Paul). David was an avid sports fan, but his passion was hockey, leading him to assisting with Waterloo Siskins and Cambridge Winterhawks Junior B Hockey teams and also the Kitchener Rangers Midget teams for many years. He assisted with the Prospects Hockey Tournament too. He also coached youth baseball teams in Kitchener. David's family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Private cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Epilepsy South Central Ontario, Lisaard House or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
