David LeBlanc Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 15, 2012.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Joseph LeBlanc at the age of 46. David was born on November 26, 1965 and grew up in Schreiber. At the time of his passing, David had been employed with Canadian Pacific in Schreiber as a Locomotive Engineer where he worked for the last 28 years. David was actively involved with the TCRC-LE Union Local 562, holding various positions over the last fifteen years. David loved to fish, and the fall was his favourite time of the year as he always looked forward to hunting season. Drag-racing was a love of Davids. For many years David and his son Hayden travelled around Northern Ontario and Manitoba racing his high-performance Suzuki motorcycle. David was carefree, outgoing, and enjoyed good times with his family and friends. David loved to travel, having travelled throughout most of Europe and the Caribbean. David will be sadly missed by his son Hayden (Evelyn, mother of Hayden), mother Verna LeBlanc, sister Sharyn Willan, brother Derek LeBlanc (Wendy) their son Brett, grandson Jayme, nieces Kathy Hirt (Toivo) their son Taylor, Jacqui Kajorinne (Ken) and their daughters Kyra and Kayleen. David is also survived by his extended family Mary Pickering (Ron), Rhonda and Todd. David was predeceased by his father Joe and his brother-in-law Barry Willan. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday September 17, 2012 at Holy Angel's Roman Catholic Church in Schreiber beginning at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
