David Lessard Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 1, 2024.
David Michael Lessard, born on January 18, 1969, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 55 years old.

David was a man whose kindness, generosity, and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His infectious smile could brighten any room and bring joy to those around him. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

David is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Fawn Lessard. Together, they built a loving family and shared countless cherished memories. He was the proud father of Yvonne Bowser, Christopher Lessard, and Merci Abbott, who will forever hold his love and guidance in their hearts. David was also the adored grandfather, or "Pépé," to Kylo Short and Astoria Abbott, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was one of six siblings, having three brothers and two sisters, with whom he shared a close bond throughout his life. David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rachel Lessard, who instilled in him the values of kindness and compassion that he carried throughout his life.

David's legacy is one of love and laughter, and he will be remembered for his ability to make anyone smile. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

David and I were good friends in high school. He had this fancy old convertible that his grandfather gave him, if I remember correctly. We shared a lot of laughs. I´m very sorry for your loss.
