David J. Luber, 66 of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Dave was born in Columbus, Indiana on June 5, 1950, the son of Powell and Lena (Roberts) Luber. He was in the first graduating class at North Decatur High School in 1968.
Dave worked as a supervisor at the Decatur County Highway Department for many years.
Survivors include his son Anthony (Sue) Brewsaugh of Batesville; his three daughters Dawn (Ron) Clark of Greensburg, Kelly (Tim) Ryle of Dillsboro and Jody (Russell) Thomas of Brookville; his sisters Linda Luber of Greensburg and Mary (Bernie) Green of Greensburg; his brother Robert (Debbie) Luber of Kentucky; his former wife Debra Land of Greensburg and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife Karen Fromer.
Rosary will be prayed on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 3:30 pm and Visitation will follow for family and friends from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. A Funeral will begin at 10am on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the funeral home with Fr. John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund or to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com.
