David Meneghini Obituary
Born on September 4, 1955, in Alabama, David was adopted by loving parents, Joseph and Mary Meneghini. David grew up in the Beckley, West Virginia area. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1973 and went on to earn an Associate in Business Administration from Beckley College in 1975. He also attended Marshall University.
David worked as a chef, manager, and co-owner in various restaurants and bars over the years. He was known for his talkative nature and fondness of animals.
In the early 1970s, David was an accomplished boxer. He competed in numerous matches throughout the region and earned recognition through events such as Beckley's Jaycee Golden Gloves. His competitive spirit extended into his love of watching football, boxing, NASCAR, and he also enjoyed hard rock music.
Throughout his life, David lived in several states including Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina before ultimately returning home to West Virginia.
David is remembered by two brothers, one son, five grandchildren, and a biological half-brother who thought about him his whole life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary; his brother Danny; and grandchild, Anna.
